Idag, den 31 oktober 2016, påve Franciskus och jag Lund. Detta historiska besök av påven görs med anledning av att katoliker och lutheraner tillsammans uppmärksammar 500-årsminnet av reformationen. Platsen för mötet är Lunds Domkyrka. Påven kommer även att under 15 minuter att träffa sveriges statsminister Stefan Löfven.
Journalisten och författaren Kristina Kappelin, uppväxt i Malmö numera boende i Rom. utkommer lagom till påvens Sverigebesök med sin bok ”Påven som kom ner på jorden”. Det är ett porträtt av en annorlunda påve som valt en annan väg än sina företrädare att nå ut till människorna.
Kristina kommer tillsammans med bara några få journalister att göra påven sällskap på flyget från Rom upp till Malmö Airport när han nu besöker Lund och Malmö.

Pope Francis and I are visiting Lund today!
Today, October 31, 2016, visiting Pope Francis and I Lund. This historic visit by the Pope made on the grounds that Catholics and Lutherans together draws attention to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The location of the meeting is Lund Cathedral. The Pope will also for 15 minutes meet the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.
Journalist and author Kristina Kappelin, growing up in Malmo now living in Rome. published just in time for the Pope’s visit to Sweden with her book ”The Pope who came down to earth.” It is a portrait of a different pope who chose a different path than their representatives to reach out to the people.
Kristina comes together with just a few journalists to do the Pope accompanied on the flight from Rome up to Malmö Airport when he visits Lund and Malmö.
