Plötsligt befinner vi oss i Venedig – Suddenly we are in Venice – Improvvisamente siamo a Venezia

Det är vår, solen strålar och vindarna kommer från Ligurien. Mycket folk på gator och torg. Vandrar med yngste sonen i staden. Fåglar sjunger och barn skriker och hurrar för att sommaren är nära. Vi går förbi en vacker kyrka. Sonen säger att det är en katolsk kyrka, vi tittar närmare och konstaterar att så är fallet. Turning Torso och ”Malmhattan” tronar upp mot den klara himlen. Vi går över en gammal kyrkogård och läser på de vackra gravstenarna. Fantiserar om vilka dessa människor var och vissa namn känner vi igen. Tar så vägen in mot Kungsparken där träden är vackert gröna och gräsmattorna är fyllda av människor som njuter av sol och värme. Vi stannar upp och ser på fåglarna i dammen och kan samtidigt se att vattnet är fullt av vackra och stora fiskar
Så plötsligt befinner vi oss inte längre i Malmö. Vi ser på varandra och säger -Är vi nu plötsligt i Venedig? Hur gick det till? Vi känner väl igen gondolen och gondoljären från vårt besök i Venedig för några år sedan. Hur gick detta till? Från bron vi står på följer vi gondolens färd. När vi så tittar på den andra sidan bron ser vi att vi inte befinner oss i Venedig utan fortfarande promenerar i Malmö. Det blev ett kort besök i Venedig och vi vandrar vidare bland fåglar och vackra träd nöjda med upplevelsen att för några sekunder förflyttat oss till Italien.
-Then, suddenly, we are in Venice !
-So we see after a few seconds that we are not in Venice, we remain in Malmo …..

”Malmhattan” – Malmö
In English:
It’s spring, the sun shines and the winds coming from Liguria. People on the streets. Walking with the youngest son in the city. Birds singing and children screaming and cheering for that summer is near. We walk past a beautiful church. The son says it is a Catholic church, we look more closely, and notes that this is the case. Turning Torso and ”Malmhattan” is enthroned up towards the clear sky. We go over an old cemetery and reading the beautiful gravestones. Fantasizing about who these people were and some names we recognize. Takes so the way toward King’s Park where the trees are beautifully green and grassy lawns are filled with people enjoying the sun and heat. We stop and look at the birds in the pond and can also see that the water is full of beautiful and big fishes.
So suddenly we are no longer in Malmo. We look at each other and say, -Are we now suddenly in Venice? How did that happen? We recognize the gondola and gondolier from our visit to Venice a few years ago. How did this happen? From the bridge we are on, we follow the gondola ride. When we look at the other side of the bridge, we see that we are not in Venice, we are still walking in Malmo. It was a short visit to Venice and we walk further among birds and beautiful trees pleased with the experience that for a few seconds, moved us to Italy.
